Network design. Using a platform approach and network cooperation in housing design, formation & revitalization of a living environment – participation, complexity approach

Abstract Networked methods of cooperation, informatization practices, decentralized systems, «Uberization», emerging today in “common” sectors the economy, can have an effect housing/renovation. The 20th century, to solve problems large-scale housing creation, formed its own systems (including mass-production, standardization, functionalist vision, typization, etc.)- they all complemented each other and gave a complex synthesis. Today, for new renovation & creating sophisticated environment, we mark possibility forming our – including “new” network production, collaboration participants - tools, more adapted problems. Changes 21st-century: “new economy”, cooperation participation environment (sophisticated distribution design tasks networks), management form techniques that contribute individualization understanding 21-stage-society. An experimental platform was created on basis these ideas, allowing synthesize them. 3 cases will be considered: 1-”contrasted”(with traditional methodology) dwelling with communities IT-environment. 2-Experimental residential “game” different forms individualization. 3-A historical building, renovated into mixed-use-development public park. All them demonstrate complicity, usage AI, IT based open-building philosophy. methodology work includes theoretical models real community testing, systematized information, classification, various digital modeling data.
